Jeremiah è nato a New York, USA, il 17 febbraio 1974 si è da poco laureato all'Università di New York, specializzandosi in Film e Televisione.

Jerry ha al suo attivo numerose partecipazioni a film e telefilm. Apparve da piccolo in molti spot pubblicitari e a 11 anni ha partecipato al film del regista Rob Reiner "Stand by me". Ha anche partecipato al film "Calendar Girl" con Jason Priestley (il Brandon di "Beverly Hills"). Recentemente ha terminato per la Dream Works il film "Joe's Apartment", basato su un programma di MTV. Recentemente ha partecipato a "Can't Hardly Wait" e "Scream 2" con Neve Campbell e Courtney Cox.

È anche apparso nel film diretto da Cameron Crowe "Jerry Maguire" con Tom Cruise e Kelly Preston.
